Well, I'm not sure what to think... I guess he's happy now that he's on his feet.
Mind you, when my grandfather died in St.Vincent, they don't have funeral homes like they have in most places. We had to bring my Grandfather back to the house and have everyone see him there. He was laying down though.
I can just see an uninformed funeral home worker: "Um, sir. You're going to have to remove your hat and sunglasses out of respect for the deceased. Sir? Hello? OK, I'm just going to have to remove them for... AGH!!"
OMG!!! When I read that article & saw the pics, I was freaked out. Everynight when I would go to bed, I kept thinking he was standing in the corner of my Room.......F.R.E.A.K.Y..............................

how odd & sad that a 24 year old had "long said he wanted to be upright for his own wake". and for 3 whole days in mom's living room!!! are you kidding? personally, as a mom who had just lost her son.... i just wouldn't stand for it.

ummm B, you see people standing in the corners of your room at night??? :shock: Seriously???
Jake "woke up" one night with his arm straight out and his hand in a fist and he was "scanning" the room, like he was holding a gun. His face was FREAKY and then he turned to me and had his fist pointing at my face, I was COMPLETELY freaked out. I thought "Oh crap, he's gonna hit me" so I slowly moved his arm in the other direction, got him to lay down again and then slept practically hanging off my side of the bed. The couch looked pretty appealing. :lol:
Haha! You know the stories. Definitely have seen people in the room before. I'm used to it though. I just go back to sleep. but none of them were wearing hats and sunglasses :)

Okay, you have got to elaborate more on these people in your room! Does it not freak you out? If Jake told me he saw people in our room at night I would NOT be able to sleep in there. no way. :shock:
Haha! I'll try to get tam to elaborate, but sometimes when I am really tired, I kind of sleep walk, but I stay in bed. i see things and say things and do things. Kind of funny :)
When I see people, I am not really awake, so it doesn't bug me much.

Okay, Jake does the same crap at night....says stuff, talks to people, kills bad guys (his arm is a gun), swats stuff out of our bed, once he caught an animal under our covers and tried to dispose of him. He's crazy. Crazy.
There are always animals in our bed. Drives me nuts!

Cheryl! Hahaha! I can only imagine what a 5 year old would do!haha!! Once my sister, she was very very little, was sleep walking and went into the kitchen, pulled down her pants, and sat on the trash can. :shock: LUCKILY my mom was up and caught her! :lol:
yes, he sees people in his sleep. and gets pissed when i dont see them too. he has pushed me out of the bed in the middle of the night while i have been sleeping fairly good (and safe) because the middle of the bed was on fire. i have woke to him standing over me messing with something on the ceiling...yah...the ceiling fan! he was taking it down. in his sleep. OVER ME!!! he has rearranged things, furniture, in the room IN HIS SLEEP. he has also talked about another woman, a mutual friend, "in his sleep"...but i wont elaborate on that :?
