Great call. Yes, God had a feeling of "I'm done" when he created the universe and took a break. Setting pragmatic goals and stopping when you are "done" is God-honoring. That attitude of course needs to be paired with the base knowledge that God is always working on us and we press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called us heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Judi, I agree. I think we can be programmed to look at everything like it is a competition.
Billy, I believe an organized life can be honoring to God as well as family and friends. Knowing when to rest is huge and definitely Biblical.
I think that's true of many things in life. We're on a journey and things are constantly changing. That's part of the joy and frustration of life. But it's also what makes it interesting!
