brent(inWorship): Baggage

the short and simple answer? Yes.

And I'm not giving the long answer. I'd hijack your comment section. ;-)

Don't we ALL have baggage? Of some sort? It seems like when we overcome one baggage issue, another one reveals itself. It's a neverending process it seems.

That's never stopped you before :)

Seriously, we all do have baggage. It's when we choose to start setting them down that we realize how much we really have or how much we have become dependent on.

It used to. I definitely have it. But I am learning how to let go so it doesn't hinder my effectiveness. Hanging on to it is so not worth it.

I think Pete hit the nail on the head. The only problem is being able to set it down. Sometimes that takes a LOT of help, even professional help. Yes, Jesus sets us free and gives us eachother to bear one another's burdens. It's wonderful when we can...but I haven't seen many people really wanting to get that honest.

Michelle, I desire to see the honesty in people as well. Not just the preaching and teaching, but the doing. I'll be faithful to doing what I can and be praying that others dig in as well.
